Nuclear capable, if need be,
this 3rd Armored 155mm M109A2 howitzer could carry high-explosive,
anti-personnel, and white phosphorus rounds as well as the W-48
nuclear shell (of the plutonium-implosion type). Research is
continuing to identity the specific unit and two crewmen shown
