1991: At the Grave Site of MG Maurice Rose, Margraten Cemetery
The WWII Division Commander was killed in
action on March 30, 1945.

Memorial Day, May, 1991: This is believed
to be the last official 3AD ceremony at Gen. Rose's grave before
the Division was deactivated in January, 1992. Participating
in the wreath laying were Division Commander MG Jerry R. Rutherford
(left front) and Div. SGT/MAJ Joe Hill (right front). In civilian
attire (back center), and representing the 3AD Association (WWII
vets), was Harley E. Swenson (B/32 AR). |
