A much too young German General "Von Kobler,"
captured earlier by Sullivan's crew, is brought into a town somewhere
near the French-Belgium border. Shortly after his capture, and
full of arrogance and pride, he had blurted out that 100,000
German troops were on their way to defend the Siegfried Line.
At least in the film, Sullivan would personally pass that information
on to "The General" [Rose], which led to a 3AD ambush
of the German force near Mons, Belgium. |
