The above ceremony took place at the Mauser Estate
on the east bank of the Rhine at Honnef, Germany, where the 3AD
had established a temporary command post. The citation to the
Division was presented to 3AD Commander Maurice Rose (at right)
from Lt. Gen. Courtney H. Hodges (First Army Commander) and Lt.
Gen. J. Lawton Collins (7th Corps Commander). |
