On July 26, 1945, during a break from
the Potsdam Conference with Joseph Stalin and Winston Churchill,
the President flew from Berlin to Frankfurt, where the Division
had established a temporary headquarters south of the city. To
Truman's immediate left (above) are BG Doyle Hickey and Lt. Col.
Raymond Dunnington, CO of the 486th AAA Bn. The location is along
the Frankfurt-Darmstadt Highway. |
