Our appreciation for the use of this book goes to Donald E. Feldman
(shown in photo checked below), who served with the 3rd Armored's
23rd Combat Engineers in 1955-57. He was with the division from
Fort Knox to the Atlantic crossing, and into stabilized operations
at Hutier Kaserne in Hanau, Germany. During that time, as radio
operator, he was assigned to C Co, B Co, and Bn HQ. Shown below
are two pages including most of the men of C Co. A long-time
resident of Sewell, NJ, Don married in 1957 and has 7 children,
16 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He is the Commander
of AMVETS Post #77, Gloucester County, NJ. The Post is named
for Don's father, the late Theodore Feldman, a WWII veteran who
served with the 101st Airborne, 401/327 Glider Infantry, including
Bastogne. |
